Quilting Gallery Mug Rug Swap

This weekend I received my mug rugs from my anonymous partner for the Quilting Gallery Mug Rug swap, I previously talked about it here.  She did a great job on making them.  The photos below are the front and back of both mug rugs.  The one with the sewing machine and spools will be put in my craft room.  The colors fit my room to a T.

Now how did she know that I love drinking coffee.  I am going to take this one to work.  I love the fabric that she chose in this mug rug.

Anita says she is a beginner, but I could not tell.  She did a fabulous job and I am glad to receive them.

She also went one step further and put a little gift in with the mug rugs.  A coin purse.  TOOOO CUTE.  It will be attached to my purse to hold my access badge to enter my building at work (I spend more time digging in the bottom of my purse for it each morning).

Quilting Gallery, Mug Rug Swap

I mailed out my 2 mug rugs to my secret person.  I hope that she will like them as these are the first mug rugs I have made.  They are just miniature quilts and sometimes working with small pieces, especially binding can be hard (for a beginner like me).  I enjoyed it and I think thee are great Christmas gifts for this year.  See photos below of the front and back of both mug rugs.
